Is This for You
Who is Claristrat for?
Senior leaders across three paths: executives building their own coaching or advisory practice, sitting leaders building coaching skill for their own teams, and experienced operators adding coaching to work they already do independently. What unites them is substantial senior leadership experience, not a shared career stage.
Why is admission limited to senior leaders?
The cohort is part of the curriculum. Peers who understand organizational complexity, power, and the weight of senior decisions create an exchange that can't be built in an open classroom.
I'm not sure my background is senior enough. Should I still apply?
That's exactly what our first conversation is for. Bring your background, and we'll discuss whether the cohort is right for you.
The Work Itself
How is this different from typical coach training?
Most programs teach session structure and check whether you follow it. Claristrat draws on adult development research to read a leader and their organization as one connected system, tracing the real cause of a problem rather than its latest symptom. You apply the method to your own leadership first, then practice it with real clients while a mentor watches and gives feedback.
How is Claristrat different than other coaching schools?
Four things. A cohort of true peers, not a mixed room of aspiring coaches and mid-level managers. A personalized path, not a script every student follows the same way. A developmental methodology that treats the leader and their system as one unit, not a set of communication techniques. And faculty who led before they coached, not trainers who only ever taught coaching.
How is Claristrat premium?
The cohort is capped, and everyone in it is a senior peer, so every exchange happens at the level you operate at. The method is proprietary, built from real transformation work. You have direct access to faculty. And the curriculum brings together depth psychology, complexity theory, adult development, and the science of the nervous system into one working framework.
Why not a university-affiliated coaching program?
University programs carry academic prestige but are often built at lighter continuing-education standards. Their coaching methods tend to draw on set techniques and scripted questions. Claristrat starts from adult development instead: building a leader's capacity to hear what's beneath the words, hold a complicated situation, and read a system as clearly as a person, inside a small, curated cohort of senior peers. You've already earned your standing. What you're here for is a methodology sharp enough to match it.
Is the work therapy?
No. The boundary is explicit: no diagnosis, no digging into trauma, no clinical treatment. If something serious comes up, we send that person to the right professional. Claristrat works at depth while the work stays developmental.
How It Runs
How much time does this take each week?
The ACC program, 12 weeks long, takes five to nine hours a week, depending on your pace. The PCC program, 24 weeks long, ranges from four to seven hours a week. That includes live classes, practice, mentoring, and work you do on your own.
Is the program available online, and when are live sessions?
Fully online, from anywhere. The 12-week program runs two 90-minute live sessions weekly, scheduled across Americas and Europe time zones. You receive the full cohort calendar before enrollment.
What if I miss a live session?
Sessions are recorded. Certification requires completion of all components and at least 80% attendance, so raise likely conflicts with us before enrolling.
Is the program offered in languages other than English?
Standard cohorts run in English. For organizations sponsoring a group of leaders, a dedicated cohort in French, Spanish, or Portuguese can be arranged; faculty coach in all four.
Why is a leadership assessment included?
Self-knowledge is the starting point of the method, not a side exercise. Your Hogan Leadership Series profile surfaces your default patterns and your derailers under pressure. Faculty use it to calibrate your own development alongside your coaching practice.
Why is one-on-one coaching for me included?
Three reasons. You experience the method as a client before you deliver it as a coach. You build the self-awareness that real listening requires: you cannot hear what a client isn't saying if you haven't done that work yourself. And most participants use the sessions to think through their own next chapter, which is often exactly why they enrolled.
Credential & Standards
Is Claristrat accredited by the ICF?
Yes, at Level 1. That is the ICF's accredited-education requirement for the ACC credential, and it is what the Professional Certificate is built against. Level 2, which covers the PCC pathway, is in progress and not yet granted, so we confirm where it stands before anyone enrolls in the Advanced Certificate. Every graduate receives a Claristrat certificate documenting the education, mentoring, and evaluation hours the ICF requires.
Can I use the Claristrat Method™ in my own practice afterward?
Yes. Graduates receive the right to use the method under Claristrat's published usage policy, a named methodology to anchor a coaching or advisory practice, not a generic framework.
I already hold an ACC or prior coaching hours. Do they count?
We are happy to review prior credentials individually in our first conversation.
What's the difference between the ACC and PCC pathway?
The ACC pathway is 12 weeks and roughly 110 hours, built to get you certified and coaching. The PCC pathway is 24 weeks and roughly 175 hours, built for those going deeper into the method as their primary practice. ACC graduates receive credit toward the PCC pathway if they continue.
How can I get my MCC?
Most coaches reach MCC after five to ten years of practice hours beyond certification. No 12- or 24-week program can shortcut that, whatever it claims. Claristrat supports Claristrat Becoming alumni toward MCC when they reach that stage, through supervision and continued mentor coaching.
Faculty & Practice
Who teaches and mentors in the program?
Faculty are senior practitioners and ICF-credentialed mentor coaches, several of them Claristrat graduates now teaching within the method they were certified in. Mentoring combines group and individual sessions, all counted toward your official coaching hours.
Who do I coach during the program?
Both. You practice first with cohort peers, in sessions faculty can observe closely, then move to real clients under mentor supervision once you're ready. Both sets of hours count toward certification.
Investment & Enrollment
What does the program cost?
The ACC pathway is USD 8,000. The integrated ACC + PCC Advanced Certificate is USD 16,000.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. The ACC pathway can be paid in 5 installments of $1,600. The integrated ACC + PCC Advanced Certificate can be paid in 8 installments of $2,000.
How do I apply?
Start with a Method Applied Experience Session, a 45-minute paid conversation ($50, applied toward enrollment within 90 days) where we look at fit together. From there, admission is a short application and a conversation with faculty, not a form you submit into silence.
When does the next cohort start?
The Fall 2026 cohort runs October 6 to December 22, 2026. Cohorts are capped at 6 to 8 senior leaders, so early conversations are worth having.
What are the refund and deferral terms?
Withdrawals 14 or more days before start receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee; a stepped schedule applies closer to and after start. A one-time delay of up to 12 months may be approved for hardship, subject to approval and seat availability. The full written policy arrives before payment.
After Certification
What happens after I complete the program?
Graduates leave with a path toward an ICF-accredited coaching credential, the Claristrat Method, supervised coaching practice, mentor feedback, and an international peer network. The skill applies inside an executive role, in advisory work, or in a coaching practice.
Does Claristrat promise I'll build a coaching business?
No. Claristrat trains the coaching skill and helps you think through fit for your next chapter. It doesn't promise clients, fees, or income. If building a practice is your goal, our first conversation covers your market, offer, and whether the numbers make sense.
What can I do with the credential?
Coach inside your own organization, build an advisory or board portfolio that includes coaching, or launch a standalone practice. The credential and the method travel with you into whichever of those you choose.
Continuity
What happens after graduation? Is there ongoing support?
Claristrat Becoming is the alumni track: monthly supervision and masterclasses that keep the method sharp after certification. It's not a farewell at week 12 or week 24.
For Organizations
Does Claristrat work with organizations, not just individuals?
Yes. Beyond the individual pathway, Claristrat partners directly with organizations sponsoring leaders through the program, and offers custom programs for leadership teams.
Can Claristrat run a dedicated cohort for our leadership team?
Yes, for organizational and group sponsors. Dedicated cohorts can run in French, Spanish, or Portuguese where the standard individual cohort runs in English only.
