Faculty

Everyone who teaches here has operated at senior level, and has spent years developing coaches at depth.

The people teaching the work

Executives first. Teachers by vocation.

Senior experience is part of the curriculum. Faculty bring operating experience, coaching craft, mentor feedback, and supervision into one learning environment.

LinkedIn profile

Executive, academic, leader developer.

Fabiana spent 25 years inside the work she now trains coaches for: more than $200M in transformation programs led across finance, healthcare, technology, public sector, and consumer industries, at Accenture, Deloitte, and high-growth scale-ups.

The method stands on that record. A coach who has carried this level of responsibility does not need an executive’s world explained to her.

  • 25Years leading transformation in complex organizations
  • $200M+In transformation programs led across five sectors
  • 6Continents served in four global languages

She went first.

The principle at the centre of the method, that you cannot take a client somewhere you have not been willing to go yourself, is not a teaching position. It is an autobiographical one.

For most of my career, I was exceptional at producing results and genuinely poor at being present to the people around me. I built this method because I needed it. Going through that work myself showed me what is possible on the other side of it.

Fabiana Pereira Hotz

The reading behind the method.

A confessed bibliophile, Fabiana has read a few thousand scholarly books looking for what actually helps adults develop. The Claristrat Method™ comes from 39 of those volumes.

Systems thinking, depth psychology, adult development theory, applied neuroscience, somatics, assessment science, leadership frameworks: each gets something right about how adults grow, and none is enough on its own. The method takes what holds up in each and builds it into one structure a coach can use with senior leaders.

Dominique Bel

Mentoring lead

Dominique Bel, PCC

LinkedIn profile

COO, CEO, executive coach mentor.

Dominique spent the first decade of his career as COO at an architecture and engineering firm in Paris before moving to North America, where he led Canadian operations for Mercuri International Group and built advisory relationships with organizations including Google and HSBC.

Through his practice Consciousness Unleashed® and his work as founder of LEA — The Leadership Evolution Architects, Dominique coaches the internal side of leadership: how a leader’s own state governs their performance under pressure. The nervous system of an organization, he argues, scales from the nervous system of its leaders. As mentor coach on the Claristrat program, he brings that attention to every student’s mentored practice.

His mentoring works on the person doing the coaching.

In practice that means naming what the student cannot yet see in their own approach: the reactions and habits underneath the technique.

His training in Internal Family Systems, Leadership Circle Profile, and Co-Active Coaching gives him precise language for what passes between coach and client. Students who work with Dominique learn the difference between running a process and being present for change.

Leadership rarely fails from lack of intelligence. It falters when internal reactivity governs under pressure.

Louise Kovacs

Supervision lead

Louise Kovacs, MA, PhD

LinkedIn profile

Twenty years coaching executives through complexity. Now supervising the coaches who do that work.

Louise has spent more than twenty years coaching executives, from individual contributors to CEOs, across industries and around the world. She came to coaching from sales leadership in the technology industry.

Few practicing coaches match her scholarly depth: a doctorate in executive coaching, research on how coaching works under complexity, peer-reviewed publications, and a co-authored book, A Guide to Formulation in Coaching.

Today Louise supervises individual coaches and supervision groups, supporting experienced and novice practitioners alike. At Claristrat, she leads monthly group supervision for graduate and certifying coaches, because a coach’s blind spots are no more visible to them than a client’s are.

LinkedIn profile

20 years operating the system. Another 16 developing its leaders.

Thomaz spent two decades as a senior executive at GSK, Unilever, and Dow Chemical across Latin America, leading organizational development, change management, HR strategy, and global manufacturing and supply operations at director level.

He has sat at the tables where global organizations decide how people are developed, deployed, and led. He knows the gap between what is said about development and what is actually done.

Since 2009, he has built a parallel practice as partner at Artisan Consultoria, one of Brazil’s leading organizational consulting firms, and as founder of CUORE, a Rio de Janeiro-based executive coaching practice. His executive development programs have reached thousands of leaders across multinationals in Brazil and Latin America: in banking, FMCG, steel, mining, media, healthcare, and construction.

The bridge between system and individual.

His training in Ontological Coaching, Systemic Organizational Consulting, and Pathwork Group Facilitation lets him work on a leader’s development and on the system around that leader at the same time. He reads the governance gaps, incentive misalignments, and cultural norms that make certain changes hard, and he teaches students to read them too.

As invited faculty, Thomaz brings the Latin American context, and the judgment built over thousands of development engagements, to a program that works in four languages across six continents.

How faculty show up

Four ways they work with you

Students are not left to translate theory into practice alone. Faculty see the work, name what is happening, and help each coach build judgment they can use without a script.

  • Live teaching

Concepts applied to real executive situations, not to worked examples.

  • Observed practice

Specific feedback on the coaching choices they watched you make.

  • Mentor coaching

ICF-aligned development over the length of the program.

  • Supervision

Attention to the coach, the client, and the system around both.
