EXECUTIVE COACH CERTIFICATION FOR SENIOR LEADERS
Advanced Executive
Coaching Certification
Exclusively for Senior Leaders
An advanced coaching certification for senior leaders ready to fully embrace coaching in the next chapter of their work, and for credentialed coaches deepening their practice to an even more senior level.
Professional Certified Coach (PCC) depth and Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) capability, integrated as one synergistic practice reflecting the reality of senior leadership mandates.
The program is structured to ICF Level 2 standards and delivers all educational requirements so learners are ready to deliver high-quality executive and team coaching engagements and apply for their ICF PCC and AATC certifications — an overlooked combination in executive coaching schools.
WHAT MAKES THIS PROGRAM DIFFERENT
Most advanced coaching certification programs miss the dual skill clients need
Most ICF PCC programs do not teach team coaching. Very few PCC or MCC coaches hold the team coaching credential or the underlying skillset. Coaching education has artificially separated executive coaching from executives’ key mandate: managing successful teams.
The result is that the deep knowledge required to support individual clients with that mandate, directly or indirectly, is left aside.
Executive coaches who already have the trust of boards and the C-suite are the right people to support those same leaders in improving executive and board team dynamics. They need the right training to succeed at that.
Individual coaching techniques alone leave team coaches feeling like improvisers when facing the executive’s whole team as a dynamic whole.
THE HIDDEN PSYCHOLOGY OF TEAM DYNAMICS
Most team coaching programs work at the behavioral surface: trust, communication, conflict styles. The Advanced Method works underneath.
Team defenses, collective regression, scapegoating, idealization as the Tavistock tradition described them, applied to contemporary leadership teams. The collective underbelly of a team is the level at which most leadership team failures actually occur.
CYNEFIN® FOR COMPLEXITY MANAGEMENT
Most team challenges are misdiagnosed: complex problems treated as complicated, complicated problems dissolved into endless dialogue.
The Advanced Method teaches the Cynefin framework as the diagnostic layer underneath team coaching: how to read which complexity domain a team is operating in, and how to design decision-making, creativity, and dialogue that fits the domain rather than fighting it.
SYSTEMS DECODING FOR RESILIENCE & CHANGE
The systems-thinking foundation laid in the Core Method is reactivated and deepened at the team scale.
How loops, feedback, and leverage points operate collectively. Why team performance is bounded by the senior leader's developmental ceiling. How the team's relationship to its sponsor and the wider organization shapes what is possible inside the room.

How the program works
with you and your schedule
In 26 weeks and fully online, an admission-gated cohort of senior leaders and practitioners moves beyond coaching mechanics to master a structured system for leadership and organizational development. The program operates first within you, strengthening presence and discernment before you bring it to the larger field.
You leave meeting the requirements to apply for your PCC and ACTC credentials, with a new peer network, and the foundations to apply it immediately in your role and practice.
Twelve modules. Six developmental arcs.
The same arcs called for by most executive engagement. Learners inhabit them first.
ARC I — INTENTIONAL AWARENESS · WEEKS 1–4
01
Foundations of Professional Coaching
The ethical and structural backbone of coaching practice: clarity of agreements, psychological safety, disciplined presence, and session architecture aligned with ICF’s latest competency set.
02
Expanding Awareness
Listening beyond content to emotion, pattern, assumption, tempo, and bias. Developing interpretive discipline without defaulting into boxed judging.
ARC II — DYNAMIC MEANING · WEEKS 5–8
03
Systemic Meaning-Making
Identifying loops, leverage points, and self-fulfilling narratives across emotional, relational, and organizational layers. Seeing beyond symptoms.
04
Directional Coherence
Facilitating semantic reframing and clarifying a client's North Star as embodied orientation. Visioning that is disciplined, ethical, and systemically grounded.
ARC III — ITERATIVE TRANSFORMATION · WEEKS 9–12
05
Operational Pathfinding
Detecting coherence gaps between aspirational values and operative behaviors. Designing iterative forward movement that holds under real-world pressure.
06
Organizational Application
Multi-stakeholder contracting, ethical assessment integration and practice foundations: proposals, positioning, and development planning.
ARC IV — ADVANCED THRESHOLD · WEEKS 13–18
07
Coaching Maturity
The shift from coaching competency to systematic discernment; calibrated to PCC marker standards through observed coaching, complex case analysis, and structured supervision practice.
08
Coaching the Collective
The pivot to coaching at the collective scale. Multi-stakeholder contracting and trust building, listening across the collective field, and the developmental ceiling as the collective boundary to effectiveness.
ARC V — SYSTEMIC DECODING · WEEKS 19–22
09
Collective Meaning Flows
The systemic reading of the loops that determine what a team can trust, think, decide, and do together. Working with these flows rather than the surface behaviors that result from them.
10
Collective Maturity
Gauging the team developmental edge reflected through power, authority, and influence exchanges; then mapping the respective systemic affordances and leverage points for amplifying these.
ARC VI — COLLECTIVE DESIGN · WEEKS 23–26
11
Dynamics Design
The structured operations for effective team culture: governance, accountability rituals, role clarity, and the relationship with sponsors. Hawkins' Five Disciplines in the Claristrat frame.
12
Complexity Management
Leading through disruption with creativity in visioning, decision-making in complexity, and applied business design for operating structures that hold under real-world pressure.
